ASSISTANT DESIGNER – JACQUEMUS

What are you working on at moment?

At the moment I am working on the final touches of the upcoming winter collection at Jacquemus.

Looking back on your time at the AMD: What were your personal highlights?

My personal highlights at AMD were definitely when I designed and developed a couture dress for Germany Next Top Model, which was chosen by Heidi Klum and starred on her TV show.

I also consider my internship in London, at Erdem, a big highlight. It was my first time working in the industry and it made me grow a lot professionally.

What did you learn that you consider most valuable for your job?

The most valuable thing I have learned is how to translate my own ideas into 3D garments with confidence through a profoundly acquired knowledge of construction, draping and finishing at school.

What advice would you like to give current students?

Embrace the opportunity to express your art and style to the fullest and show why you are unique.
