Taster Lecture: Fashion & Design Management – Product Technology

This module introduces students to the technical foundations of fashion production. Through hands-on work in the sewing lab, they explore essential garment construction techniques, learn to operate industry-standard machines, and understand how seams, finishes, and production methods influence quality and design.

By examining production samples and practicing key techniques themselves, students gain a practical understanding of how fashion products are made. Knowledge that is crucial for making informed decisions in design development, sourcing, and product management.
