Semester abroad at Hongik University
Since the winter semester 2015, students of Sptial Design (B.A.) have the opportunity to spend a semester at one of the largest universities in Seoul, Hongik University.
Hongik University was founded in 1946 and is known for its strong artistic orientation. More than 18.500 students spend their studies there and especially the faculties of design and art have an excellent reputation, correspondingly high admission criteria.
Hongik University also has several graduate schools, such as the International Design School for Advanced Studies (IDAS). The Master’s courses there are mostly offered in English and exchange students can usually also choose to participate.
The semester abroad in Seoul starts at the end of August. All credits earned in Seoul will be credited towards your studies at AMD, thus avoiding the need to extend your studies.
The New Design University was founded in 2004 by the Lower Austrian Chamber of Commerce and its business development institute. It offers its 460 students academic courses in addition to bachelor’s and master’s degrees. The New Design University is made up of two faculties: Design as well as Technology and Economics.
The semester abroad in St. Pölten starts in October. All credits earned in Austria will be credited towards your studies at AMD, thus avoiding the need to extend the length of study.
