    Semester abroad at Donghua University

Since the winter semester 2017, students of Mode Design (B.A.) and Spatial Design (B.A.) have the opportunity to spend a semester at the Shanghai International College of Fashion and Innovation at the renowned Donghua University.

Donghua University (DHU), formerly China Textile University, was founded in 1951. The DHU is located in the center of Shanghai and is one of the key state universities directly under the Chinese Ministry of Education. Main disciplines such as fashion design, textile engineering, international trade, materials science and information technology have gained an excellent reputation at home and abroad. The DHU is a multidisciplinary university with a wide range of bachelor and master programs in a spectrum of disciplines such as engineering, economics, management, literature and arts, law, science and education.

The Shanghai International College of Fashion and Innovation (SCF) is a college affiliated to Donghua University and currently offers two-degree programs, Fashion Innovation and Fashion Interior Design, in cooperation between Donghua University and the University of Edinburgh. The SCF courses are offered entirely in English.

The semester abroad in Shanghai starts at the beginning of September. All credits earned in Shanghai will be credited towards your studies at AMD, thus avoiding the need to extend your studies.
